REAR LIFT STRAP INSTALL
What you need before you start
- The rear lift strap kit (strap + any mounting hardware included)
- Basic hand-tools / Blue Thread Locker (wrench / socket set, possibly screwdriver)
- A stable surface or a bike stand — make sure the bike won't move while working
🔧 Rear Lift Strap – Simple Install Guide
Find the mounting bolts
Use the two rear fender/subframe bolts shown in the photos.
Use spacers if needed
If your bike has a plastic tail-light assembly, or if the strap touches the fender, add the supplied spacers to lower the strap.
Choose the correct strap hole
Pick the adjustment hole that gives the best length for your bike.
Keep the strap clear of the exhaust (especially on 4-strokes).
Check bolt length
Measure your stock bolts.
If using the supplied bolts, they may need trimming.
Without spacers, new bolts should be 8 mm longer than the factory bolts.
Install the strap
Remove the two stock bolts, position the strap, and fit the new bolts.
Use thread-locker so the bolts don't loosen.
Done!
Strap installed — go enjoy some throttle therapy!
